​Visual Expression of Emotion; Itami Design's goal is to express one's inner feelings through fashion including clothing, makeup, and accessories. Itami is the Japanese word for "pain".

Starting out with my love for costumes and alternative fashion I majored in fashion design with an area study of costumes and makeup at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2005. Paired with the skills I learned in school, crafting, life experiences as well as following emotions I began to find my path and goal in life. My love for music, self expression and just not feeling the "normal" fashions out there spurred me to form my own designs.
From all this Itami designs was born.
